Help Loan Payments

What are the implications of late or returned payments?

If your payment is returned by your financial institution, your overdue loan will be subject to a one-time NSF fee of $50 and interest will accrue on any unpaid balance at a rate of up to 60% per annum.

How can I repay my loan?

For Payday Loans:

Your loan is setup with a transfer to withdraw the funds from the bank account you selected during signup. The funds will be withdrawn on the repayment date - you just need to make sure there are sufficient funds in your account to cover the transaction. You can find this One time payment by logging in and clicking on Payments.

For Coffee Cup or Term Loans

Your loan is setup with an ongoing transfer to withdraw funds from your bank account at the frequency you chose during signup. For coffee cup loans this is daily or weekly, depending on which loan you chose. For term loan the payment frequency can be daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. No action is required on your part and the funds will be withdrawn on the due dates. You can find Ongoing Payments by logging in and clicking on Payments.

What if I want to make a one time payment or pay the loan off early?

We make it easy. The amount you see owing after logging in is the amount you will pay to payoff the loan early. We won't charge interest since the last scheduled transfer which means paying early really does pay off. Just add a one time payment from the Payments section of your dashboard or email a payment to us using Interac e-Transfer and we'll take care of the rest.

How to I make a Payment using Interac e-Transfer?

The best way is using Interact E-Transfer! Login to your bank and email the funds to payments@heliumloans.com with the password of heliumloans. Please be sure to include your email in the message field or the payment will take may not apply to your account right away.

How do I make a payment using EFT / Wire?

You can also use Electronic Funds Transfer to make a payment by logging into your account and going to transfers and then transfer one time. Choose the bank account you'd like to make a payment from, confirm the amount and transfer.

What does interest apply to?

We apply interest to the outstanding amount shown in your dashboard excluding fees
